The wet bits…
I enjoy judo, and am a 1st Dan black belt under the British Judo Association. I am a qualified coach and referee – both of these I do on a volunteer basis. It’s been great for fitness and I’m working on associated things such as running, cycling, weight training and so on. Please also see my Judo CV.
More recently I have taken up football refereeing and am a level 7 affiliated to Surrey FA. I officiate for age groups ranging from under 8s to veterans, and every match is different in terms of approach and the use of ‘man management’ skills. The discipline and confidence from judo has certainly carried over!
I am a musician who specialises in guitar and dabbles in bass. Please see my music
page for more details.
